    70人程度にinvitation letterを送りました。

    Dear Dr. ****,

I recently accepted to serve as Guest Editor for the Special Issue “Structure and Function of Podoplanin (PDPN) in Disease” of the journal Cells (ISSN 2073-4409, IF 5.656). In this regard, I would be very pleased if you agreed to contribute a research paper, or review on all aspects related to this theme. Given below is some information that you may find useful in your consideration of this invitation.

This Special Issue “Structure and Function of Podoplanin (PDPN) in Disease” welcomes original research articles and reviews covering topics regarding the structure and function of PDPN, diagnosis and therapy targeting PDPN, including antibody-drug conjugate (ADC), chimeric antigen receptor-T (CAR-T) therapy, radioimmunotherapy (RIT), photoimmunotherapy (PIT), and liquid biopsy.

For further reading, please follow the link to the Special Issue website at: https://www.mdpi.com/journal/cells/special_issues/Podoplanin_PDPN

The submission deadline is 31 March 2020, followed by a reasonably prompt review/revision process. The articles will be published upon acceptance, on an ongoing basis. The review and publication processes will be handled by the Editorial Office.

Cells is fully open access. Open access (unlimited and free access by readers) increases publicity and promotes more frequent citations, as indicated by several studies. Open access is supported by the authors and their institutes. The Article Processing Charges (APC) for accepted papers are CHF 1800 (From 2020, the APC will be CHF 2000). All submissions, including featured articles, will be subject to peer review.

In order for us to plan this Special Issue, we kindly ask you to inform us as to whether you are interested in contributing to this issue.

    Many thanks,

    Professor Yukinari Kato Guest Editor
